Famous People I've Worked With...

  • Erin Andrews, ESPN sidelines reporter. I was a utility whose job was to follow Ms. Andrews with a battery-powered LED LitePanel for her on-camera hits during the attendance record breaking Syracuse vs. Villanova game in 2010.
  • Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States. The Vice President visited Syracuse University and I was a member of the press, photographing the event for CitrusTV and the Ononodagan Yearbook.
  • Drake and N.E.R.D. performed in the Carrier Dome at Syracuse University in May 2010, and I was on-stage as a handheld camera operator for the in-house video show.
  • Adam Duritz, Whoopi Goldberg, John Lithgow, Daniel Radcliffe, and tons of Broadway stars. Assisted my dad who operated a jib from the balcony of Radio City Music Hall for the 2008 Tony Awards.
  • James Brown, Cris Collinsworth, Phil Simms, talent for Inside the NFL. When the show moved from HBO to Showtime, I worked as a jib assistant with my dad in a small studio with green screen and field turf to shoot elements for the show's new open and promos with a RED camera.
  • Vanessa Carlton, Grammy-nominated singer/pianist. Known for her hit A Thousand Miles, Ms. Carlton is a native of my hometown Milford, Pa. She played at the town park in the annual Milford Music Festival and I had backstage access while shooting photos for The Gazette.
  • John Sebastian, musical artist who wants to know Do You Believe in Magic?. He headlined a tiny concert festival that I covered for The Gazette.
  • Dennis Leary, star of and brains behind Rescue Me. Assisted my dad as a jib technician in 2008.
  • Sean McDonough, Dan Shulman and other ESPN commentators. I work alongside some of the best sportscasters in the country as a utility for ESPN broadcasts of the Syracuse Orange from the Carrier Dome.
  • J.A. Adande, Don Bell, Michelle Bonner, Drew Brees, Chris Broussard, Steve Bunin, Ryan Burr, Joey ChestnutJon Coachman, Linda Cohn, Kevin Connors, Mike Hill, Tim Kurkjian, Ducis Rodgers, Adam Schefter, Anish Shroff, Tommy Smyth, J.W. Stewart, Bobby Valentine, Dick Vitale, Adnan Virk, Sara Walsh, Steve Weissman, Bram Weinstein, Mike Yam and other anchors, analysts and guests on ESPNews, the 24-hour sports news network that I interned for in 2010.
  • Greg Paulus, former Duke basketball player and Syracuse quarterback. While a grad student in Syracuse, Paulus was the color commentator for one of our play-by-play broadcasts of a women's basketball game.
